Writing My Own Playbook

Welcome

Here’s the truth: buying property right now is genuinely difficult, especially if you’re starting from where I am. My parents are immigrants. They came to this country without land, a home, or any property already in the family, the kind that gets passed down to children before they even turn eighteen. Property is wealth. It compounds quietly in the background. For people like me, the challenge is still just securing that first opportunity to own.

I’m a young woman learning this process from scratch, largely on my own. I’ve spent a lot of time reading, researching, and asking questions that nobody around me had answers to. No one handed me a playbook for this, so I’m building one as I go.

This blog is that process in real time: learning how to change the outcome, not just for myself, but for my family as well. I want to be the first in my family to strategically own property here, and I want to understand it well enough to help the people who came before me benefit from it too. If you’re figuring this out without a head start or a family blueprint to follow, I’d love for you to learn alongside me.
